This LD describes the air flow
through the gas turbine. Detailed
discussion includes the inlet air filters (and cleaning), evaporative coolers,
inlet bleed heating, the variable inlet guide vanes (simple cycle and combined
cycle operation), exhaust and performance monitoring instrumentation. Alarm discussion includes why the alarm
situation is of concern, likely causes, and probable actions to be taken.
