(GE-LSTG) Mk-II Turbine Protection
Course Overview
This Learning-Doc describes turbine protection
with the use of the Mk-II design front standard trip/reset devices. Discussion
on the protective systems will include the generation of the trip signal within
the controls (detection and actions taken) and how the turbine is physically
tripped (action of the trip valves). Discussions include alarm response.
